In Skummeslöv on the Swedish west coast lives the Baker family. A few years ago, they dreamed of an outdoor environment where they could spend time together and unwind between the family’s hectic schedule.
– Because we have horses, we are tied to staying in Sweden for most of the year. We therefore wanted to create an oasis with a holiday feeling at home. An outdoor space where we can relax, socialise and enjoy ourselves, no matter how much it blows.

Calm moments together
Mariana got in touch with Halmstad based ErgoSafe after a tip that there was a height-adjustable glass balustrade that could match the family’s dream.
After measuring, choosing the model and reviewing the installation, ClickitUp became a natural part of the complete setting the family wanted to create. The outdoor space for family life, shaped for time together and protected from weather and wind, now began to take form.
The result exceeded expectations and has become a protected place where the family can gather and enjoy time together, even when it is windy.
Same function, same feeling over time
It has now been more than five years since the family installed their first ClickitUp sections and they still work just as well. Later, the family complemented the outdoor space with a few additional sections.

What was previously a wind exposed area is today a protected place for relaxation. The glass balustrade can easily be raised when needed, making it possible to enjoy the outdoor space even when the wind picks up.
